Support and referral service
CSMC provides telephone counselling, information, referral and support for single mothers. The Support Line is staffed by single mothers and we are experienced telephone counsellors who understand the complexities and challenges of parenting alone.
Our team can talk you through the issues faced by many single mothers, including parenting issues, family violence, housing and financial stress and the general pressures of being a single mother.
We offer information on negotiating with Centrelink, Human Services, Family Court and the Child Support Agency and can refer you to services and agencies that can assist you with financial and material aid.
The Support Line operates Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.00pm.

Please note: Due to the high volume of calls CSMC receives to our Support Line it is not always possible to answer every call right away; however your call is important to us and we always endeavour to return each call as quickly as possible.
If you get through to our message bank please take the time to leave a message stating your name, your phone number and a brief explanation about why you are calling. CSMC checks the messages consistently throughout the day and all calls are responded to in the order they are received.
